Update: I just did a nice loop that others might enjoy. Started out in Cheney, S. Cheney Spangle Rd to S Wells Road to Pine City / Malden Rd to St. John., then onto 23 and over through Steptoe to 195 South. 195 South to 95 South, right onto the Old Spiral Highway, down to 128 West all along the Wawawai River Road, back up to 195, North on 195 to Colfax, West on 26 until the Endicott road, Endicott E road to Endicott / St. John Rd, North on the Endicott / St. John road, back up through Pine City / Malden, back through South Wells and then to Cheney. Saw 2 big bucks dead on the road...most likely from a wheat truck. I was off the road by 5pm and didn't see a single deer (thankfully) all day. Full day of riding, tons of room to stretch out and let it rip.

I come over from Seattle to ride the Cheney - Spangle, Mullinex, and Cheney / Plaze Rock-Lake roads whenever I can. Long straights, easy curves and decent pavement make for some very nice riding. For me, it's one of the few places (aside from a track) where I can really twist the throttle without fear of the gumballs lighting up. St. John / Oaksdale are cool little towns. As stated, limited services but you can gas an go. Watch out on 23 though as I saw both a Whittman county Sherrif and an unmarked silver cruiser that already popped a car.
