On Highway 101 south of Aberdeen turn right onto N. River Road, just past the microscopic town of Artic,WA the road from Artic,WA to Brookland,WA is short but has great med. sized curves through meadowy riverbottom terrian edged by tall Alder trees, the Brookland tavern is a good halfway stop and nearly the end of the pavement.

A friend of mine from Rose City HOG and I from Poineer HOG took a ride from Portland up OR 30 to Longview and then WA 411 to WA 506 to WA 6 to Pe Elli. What a great ride that is (was) lots of easy corners, not much traffic and very scenic. Took us all day, 265 miles, but very worth it.

Today I took a route others might like.
Satsop Rd W heading north out of Brady ( near Montesano off of hwy 8)
Turns into Middle Satsop rd
Stay straight onto W Matlock Brady rd when Middle Satsop rd takes a sharp right turn.
Turn Right at Matlock onto W Shelton Matlock rd to Shelton

I'll have to do it again with better maps or a GPS, there are several side roads I'd like to check out.

Anyway nice ride for a Sunday afternoon.
